Denji Gassi aka Mangalorean Crab Curry


Serves: 3-4

You’ll need:

      • 4 medium Sea Crab Cleaned

To Grind:

      • 130 Grams Coconut Freshly grated
      • 2 Tablespoons njh Motherships Meat/Seafood/Veg Spice Mix
      • 1 Teaspoon njh Hot Travelling Chillies
      • 1/2 Onion
      • 9 Garlic pods
      • Tamarind 2” soaked in water
      • 3/4 Tablespoon salt

    To Grind:

        • 1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric
        • 4 Green Chillies Slit
        • 1” Minced Ginger

     Method:

        • Grind all the ingredients mentioned to grind to a fine paste. You will need to add water along with the tamarind water..
        • Add it to a clay pot and season it with salt and let it come to a boil. Add the finishing ingredients and then the crab.
