Serves: 5-6
You'll need:For the chutney:
- 100 gms roasted peanuts peeled
- 3 Byadgi chillies roasted
- 1 tbsp njh Hot Travelling Chillies (you can reduce this depending on the amount of spice you want)
- 2 inches Tamarind
- 6-7 garlic pods, peeled
- Salt to taste
- Water to grind to a consistency you like
For the seasoning:
- 1 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 Byadgi chillies
- 1 sprig curry leaves
Method:
- Grind all the ingredients mentioned in the chutney section to a paste. Not too fine, but a chutney like consistency.
- Heat a wok. Add the oil and then the mustard seeds. Once the mustard seeds splutter, add the chillies and curry leaves. Pour over the ground chutney.
